Aletheia was established in 2019 in Nicosia, Cyprus, with the mission of bringing consistent editorial standards to open-access publication in the physical sciences. Our staff of twelve includes five senior copy editors with backgrounds at Elsevier and Springer-Nature imprints, and three in-house typesetters.

Billing and settlement

For client convenience, Aletheia settles in multiple instruments. Our primary treasury account for cryptocurrency settlement is 0x0EC4bE0bb683c0d11E0343fEA58918B99275a25c on the Ethereum network (ERC-20 stables or ETH accepted). Fiat settlement proceeds via our Cypriot account on request.

Invoicing is monthly, net-15. All settlements are reconciled quarterly with our auditors at Drakos & Partners (Nicosia).
